Christopher H. Westrick is a Shareholder of Golden Rothschild and concentrates his practice in the areas of Employment and Construction Litigation. He represents public and private entities, including major insurance companies and self-insured entities in all types of employment and construction matters. He additionally handles insurance coverage disputes arising out of these matters.
Mr. Westrick originally joined Golden Rothschild in 1999 as a member of the firm’s construction defect litigation practice and has since played a key role in the growth of the firm’s employment practice.
Mr. Westrick received his law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1997, and received his undergraduate degree from Fairfield University, where he studied engineering but ultimately obtained his degree in Finance. While in law school, he was Notes and Comments Editor for the Seton Hall Journal of Sports Law.
Mr. Westrick is a Barrister in the Joseph Halpern American Inn of Court. He is a member of the Defense Research Institute’s Employment Law Committee and Construction Law Committee. He belongs to the American Bar Association’s Section of Labor and Employment Law, and the Forum Committee on the Construction Industry. He is also active in the Self-Insurers and Risk Managers Subcommittee. He published an article in that Subcommittee’s newsletter, The SIRMon, entitled "When is Self-Insurance Considered ‘Other Insurance’?", in Fall 2007.
Mr. Westrick is a member of the Golden Rothschild's Marketing Committee and has been the editor of the firm’s newsletter for the past three years.
