Audrey L. Shields is a Shareholder of Golden Rothschild and concentrates her practice in Insurance Coverage, Professional Liability, and General Liability litigation. She represents major insurance companies, insurance agents and brokers, and self-insured entities in the defense of coverage disputes, errors and omissions claims, bad faith litigation, and other insurance related issues. Ms. Shields also handles general liability claims including personal injury actions, automobile liability, property damage, premises liability, liquor liability, construction defect, and warranty litigation.
Ms. Shields was a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Ellen L. Koblitz and joined Golden Rothschild Spagnola Lundell Boylan & Garubo in 2000.
Ms. Shields is a 1987 graduate of Douglass College, Rutgers University and received her law degree from Claude W. Pettit College of Law at Ohio Northern University in 1993. While in law school, Ms. Shields served as the Presiding Judge of the Moot Court Board of Advocates and led her Spring National Team to the Quarter Finals of the National Competition which was held at the American Bar Association meeting in San Francisco, California in1993.
Ms. Shields is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, American Bar Association,
Somerset County Bar Association, and the Italian American Bar Association. She attended the Justice Robert L. Clifford American Inn of Court from 1997-1999, and is a member of Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity. Ms. Shields received recognition in Strathmore's Who's Who in 2008. Ms. Shields is currently a member of the Golden Rothschild's Marketing Committee.
