Ronald S. Levitt is Of Counsel to Golden Rothschild and concentrates his practice in Product Liability, General Liability, Construction, and Mediation/ADR. He represents corporations and individuals in the defense of a variety of claims including product and construction defect and food borne illness claims. He is also active as a mediator and neutral arbitrator.
Mr. Levitt joined Golden Rothschild Spagnola Lundell Boylan & Garubo in 1988. Prior to joining Golden Rothschild, Mr. Levitt was a trial lawyer with 30 years active experience in the trial of both plaintiff personal injury claims and the defense of automobile and product liability claims.
Mr. Levitt is a 1965 graduate of Lafayette College and received his law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1968. While in law school, Mr. Levitt worked for the firm of Cravath Swaine and Moore as a summer clerk.
Mr. Levitt is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, Somerset and Middlesex County Bar Associations, and the Defense Research Institute (DRI). He is also the Chairman of the New Jersey Bar Foundation Mock Trial Committee and active in the American Mock Trial Invitational, an international high school tournament created in 2006 by the New Jersey State Bar Foundation and the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers as an alternative competition to address concerns of religious commitments by competing school teams.
